The Nigeria Television Authority-Startimes TV Network says it is partnering with Nollywood for the exclusive broadcast of the 2018 “Queen of Nollywood” Reality TV Show.
Mr Frank Ikegwuonu, the president, Queen of Nollywood Reality show, has said that the show has unified the country better and contributed to the development and preservation of her cultural heritage.
Ikegwuonu said that six winners would emerge and be coronated Queen of Nollywood Brand Ambassadors with awards, cash prices, certificates, presentation of pet-projects and a one-year film contract.
Frank Ikegwuonu, president of the Nollywood Executives and Leadership Awards, said that the show focuses on drama and cultural entertainment with strict adherence to the African culture and traditions. He said 20 women will feature in the talent hunt programme, which will air and document unscripted, real-life situations with Nollywood celebrities.
36 girls representing each state of the federation would feature in the competition scheduled for August.
The show is an acting competition where every contestant must have a basic knowledge of the Nigerian culture and language.
